Suvarnabhumi International Airport
Suvarnabhumi Airport is one of the national priority projects of the Thai government in order to make the country an aviation hub in the Southeast Asian region. The airport is planned as the flagship of expanding development to accommodate future air traffic growth, estimated at up to 58 million passengers per year in 2008. Suvarnabhumi Airport covers an area of some 20,000 rai (8,000 acres). The new international airport is located km 15 on the east-bound Bang Na-Trat Highway in Bang Phli District, Samut Prakarn and is about 25 km from downtown Bangkok. The Passenger Terminal complex is accessible via five routes.
Access route from the North | via the motorway. The elevated frontage of the terminal is divided into inner and outer parts of both the arrival and the departure halls. |
Access route from the Northwest | via the Rom Klao elevated highway and Wat King Kaew Road which passes the customs free zone before arriving at the terminal. |
Access route from the South | via the Bang Na-Trat highway and the service road which passes the long term parking area and the public transportation centre before arriving at the terminal. |
Access route from the Northeast | via the Lad Kra Bang (Onnuj Road), then through the East-West main service road within the airport, the long term parking area and the public transportation centre before arriving at the terminal. |
Access route from the West | via Wat King Kaew Road. There are elevated frontages on the 1st ,2nd and 4th floor of the terminal complex; these divide into 2 parts: inner and outer. Public transport vehicles are forbidden to park in this area. |

Chiang Mai International Airport
Chiang Mai International Airport is the gateway to northern Thailand, a land of breathtaking natural attractions and deep-rooted cultural traditions. The Airport has contributed greatly to tourism in the region over the years. It plays an important role in promoting travel and tourism throughout the northern Thailand and Mae Kong sub-region. The airport is currently serving more than 2,000,000 passengers, 15,000 flights and 16,000 tons of cargo annually. The airport is located quite closed to downtown Chiang Mai (approximately 2 km) with a beautiful view of nearby Doi Suthep hill.

Pai Airport
Pai airport has been developed recently with initiative from Mae Hong Son province in order to enhance Pai tourism business potential. The old runway was built during World War II and kept as a landing strip for military supplies. Recently, the province of Mae Hong Son took control and got the air field commercially certified and under supervision from the Department of Civil Aviation. The airport is decorated in line with Pai’s natural style, and daily flights are operated exclusively by Nok mini .
Pai airport is located one kilometer from Pai town. It covers an area of 71 rai with 18m X 800 m runway with a small terminal to accommodate passengers. The small airport is equipped with a 2000 litre fire extinguisher truck, and under management of Mae Hong Son airport specialists.
Mae Hong Son Airport
Mae Hong Son airport is located at the center of Mae Hong Son province of Thailand. The airport is situated in a beautiful valley and provides an air transfer option, preferable to a 6-7 hour ground transfer from Chiang Mai. Currently, there are daily flights operated by Thai airways, Nok Airlines and Nok mini. The airport is located one kilometer from Mae Hong Son town center.

Nan Airport
Nan Airport. Located in Moo 2, Pha Muang Sing Nan about 2 kilometers away from downtown in coordinates Lat 18 48 28.20 N Long 100 47 00.48 E Height above sea level 213 meters (702 Feet).The area shared by the Air Force has a total area of 1,069 rai 24 square wah work.

Udon Thani Airport
Udon Thani International Airport is located near the Muang Udon Thani. The airport is located in Royal Air Force (Wing 23) miles from the city about 5 km Airport Udon Thani has been updated and a terminal up again, and connected to the original building has received a budget from the Government to improve. The building was completed in 2549.
